El Steinwinter fue un \u201ccami\u00f3n patinete\u201d de principios de los 70 que no resulto tener el \u00e9xito esperado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se present\u00f3 en el sal\u00f3n de Frankfurt con el nombre de Supercargo 2040 con seis metros y medio de largo contaba con un chasis Mercedes, un motor Daimler-Benz, suspensi\u00f3n neum\u00e1tica, frenos antibloqueo, hasta climatizador (un lujo para la \u00e9poca) y adem\u00e1s inclu\u00eda en su interior una peque\u00f1a cama junto al asiento del copiloto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El dise\u00f1o fue concebido por Manfred Steinwinter, y la verdad es que resolvi\u00f3 el dise\u00f1o desde otro punto de vista. Una de las ideas m\u00e1s importantes del dise\u00f1o es que pod\u00eda ser usado como remolcador o cargar sobre \u00e9l un contenedor de carga o incluso ser usado como autob\u00fas, todas estas soluciones se podr\u00edan dar en este mismo dise\u00f1o de veh\u00edculo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pero el dise\u00f1o tuvo puntos negativos, como la reducida visibilidad desde un punto tan bajo de la carretera y la longevidad, no estaba prevista para cumplir el mill\u00f3n de kil\u00f3metros. Estos dos puntos hicieron que no fuera un dise\u00f1o exitoso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Su punto fuerte era la carga, proporcionaba un aumento de carga entre un 20% y un 50% (seg\u00fan la carga) que un cami\u00f3n convencional.
